You were summoned here for a reason…do you feel that?

A tingle in your very chest, daring to expand into something more….

It's one that feels of magick, of fire, of soul —

And maybe even heartbreak all at once.

Every intense feeling all rolled up into one.

A force waiting to become life itself….

And yet it has the power to birth death as well.

This. All of this — that’s Spark!

Spark Fiction isn’t just my genre – it's a movement. One I welcome you to. It’s a storytelling style that is built upon the belief that emotion is like craft, genre is an endlessly infinite playground, and stories are sacred spaces where everyone deserves to feel and genuinely be seen.

Representation is baked into the concept of Spark Fiction, without representation, it is not Spark Fiction.

So What Is Spark?

Spark is fusion. Spark is freedom. Spark is fire, heart & soul. That honestly sounds like an incantation.

Spark Fiction blends genres like fantasy, sci-fi, horror, drama, romance, magical realism, and anything you can imagine, into something new — something that doesn’t fit neatly into any box. It's multigenre in the sense that everything is on the table, and always adapts, it's not linear, by nature it's never meant to be. It's diversification at it's finest.

But Spark is about more than genre. It’s a vibe. A pulse.

A story that lights something in you.

It feels like magick, even when it’s not or even when it literally is(I write plenty of that); it’s intended to feel limitless, to lift up your spirits for as much as it may drag them down, it’s to show you the potential within yourselves and just how genuinely limitless you can be.

It hurts in the best way, even when it heals or anything in between; we are all multifaceted beings, our feelings and existence blends, and I believe that deserves to be acknowledged and respected always.

You might cry.

You might gasp.

You might feel like your soul just got kissed or kicked or exploded wide open. But you will feel something….that is yours to explore.

✨❤️‍🔥✨The Core Values of Spark Fiction🐦‍🔥:

🫀 Emotionally in-depth

Spark stories go deep. Into the hearts, backgrounds, and hidden wounds of their characters. They don’t shy away from the raw stuff — they live in it, because that's reflective of our existence. We don't get to put away, everything we face every day, at least not fully, even when we try to suppress and repress things; so I believe that it's important to feel validated by characters who can't do that either. People to look to, to feel less alone when you need it.

🎭 Multi-genre & boundary-breaking

A Spark story might start as fantasy, then slip into psychological horror, then fall in love with a ghost if it pleases. Genre rules? We write over them in stardust – because we’re all made of star stuff aren’t we😉✨❤️‍🔥

🌈 Representation ALWAYS♾️

Spark stories are for everyone.

Queer, BIPOC, Neurodivergent, Disabled, Spiritually Inclined, Gender-expansive; all the marginalized you can think of…Everyone deserves to be the main character of something powerful and amazingly wonderful, and it is my personal mission to do my BEST to make that so, for as long as I possibibly exist.

✨🚪✨ Accessible and soul-driven

You don’t need to be an elite reader to feel a Spark story. They're written for connection, to make it easy to feel, and not intended for gatekeeping. These are stories that reach into the dark and hold you however you need them to.

🔥✨🔍 Why I Created the Spark Fiction Genre

Because I couldn’t find a shelf where my stories belonged, where I belonged, and where I belong, well I don't think that's limited to a shelf🤭.

Because people told me “I’ve never read anything like this, but it changed me.”

Because I believe stories can burn and heal all at once — to validate anyone & anything they carry; I strive for all of this in any of the work I do.

I wanted to create a space for stories that are messy, honest, magickal, painful, queer, ethnically colorful, representative, surreal, genreless, or genre-all; when I say anything, I mean it, in the most positive way I can.

Spark is the word I gave to the feeling I want people to walk away with and hold deeply with themselves; it is widely used, but on the flip side, that means its potentially always with us, and I think that's important😊

If that feeling calls to you, maybe you’re a Spark Reader.

Maybe you’re a Spark Writer.

Maybe…you’ve always been one, too.

You’re welcome here.
