My Story

Hello, I’m Helios Moeru, and the story depicted on this page is not a work of fiction, like most of what I’ve written and am writing; but rather this is my story, a reflection of my life journey. Through my personal experiences, I aim to share with you why representation, accessibility, and authenticity are central to my creative endeavors.

From a young age, I was grappling with self-acceptance and identity, my own life has been a journey of self-discovery and embracing who I am. The series of struggles I have faced, whether with mental, emotional, and even physical health challenges and or internalized homophobia, abuse, and anything of a similar nature; that of which I may delve deeper into one day. All of that, my own battles and triumphs. They are a powerful reflection to my commitment to the authentic representation that stems from my own eternal quest to see diverse and relatable stories and characters in literature and media. I believe that everyone deserves to see themselves reflected in stories, and my work is a testament to the power of inclusive narratives.

Accessibility in storytelling, and in general is also close to my heart & soul. I strive to make my work accessible to all, ensuring that barriers are broken down and voices are amplified. In essence, my life experiences shape my creative work, driving me to celebrate diversity, foster empathy & sympathy, and inspire positive change through storytelling and throughout our Universe and BEYOND.
